Cove Island Connecticut has a curvaceous coastline. Inland is equally pleasing with trees, grasses, sand dunes and more. However, this particular tree talked to me. It was as if it was a person standing tall with arms raised that stretched out while their eyes cast their gaze towards horizon’s sunset. This image inspired certain lyrics in the song ‘Piano Plays a Melody’.

Seeping through my body while it ties my stomach tight
